Delivery Charges
Most orders incur a delivery charge this starts from £10.00 GBP
and includes Vat @ 20% this charge is passed on to us by the
suppliers of the fabric, and so because the fabric or wallpaper
is discounted so much to you we must pass this charge on to you
the customer. Sorry!
Before Cutting Fabric or opening rolls of wallpaper.
All orders are accepted, dispatched and invoiced on the
understanding that when received, the fabric will be carefully
inspected prior to cutting. Whilst every effort is made to
control and inspect each order to ensure you receive the goods
in the best possible condition, errors can be made, damage and
creases can occur in transit. Once the fabric is cut, we are not
able to accept return or any liability whatsoever.
2-Claims
No claims or returns whatsoever can be accepted for any error
once the fabric or Goods have been cut. Please contact us for a
return code if you have the wrong fabric or wallpaper.
3-Limit of Liability
All goods are supplied on the condition that our liability for
any fault or defect in the quality, condition, description or
fitness for any purpose is limited in amount to a sum not
exceeding the purchase price of the particular goods.
4-Restocking Fee
Where a mistake has been made by the customer in giving the
wrong information there may be a restocking fee that is incurred
by the customer. This fee is charged by the supplier and not by
us. This fee could be has much has 55% of the full cost of the
order.

5-What is your return policy?
If you have a problem with your goods once you have received
them please contact us using the email you first made the
enquiry on. This email has a unique enquiry number in the
subject bar and we use this to keep track of your order.
Please tell us about the problem and we will do our very best to
sort it out for you.

6-Do
you have a catalog?
Many customers inquire as to whether or not we have a catalog.
Since most of are inquires are for fabrics and wallpapers
supplied direct from the suppliers we do not need a catalog.
Although, we do not have a physical one, we like to think of our
web site (store) is a virtual catalog.
Everything you need to know about us is right at your
fingertips.

7-Is your site secure?
At designer-fabric.co.uk we do not take your Card details via
email our policy is to contact you and we will take your
ordering details over the telephone.
Once we have taken your order over the telephone it will be
processed that day and a confirmation email will be sent to you,
or you will be given a reference number over the telephone.
A system for orders being taken over the internet is been
developed by our term and will be available soon.

8-Do you send out samples of your fabric?

We do not send out samples of fabric or
wallpaper as we order direct from the
suppliers and do not carry stock.
However most samples can be obtained direct
from the suppliers. please search google.com
for your supplier and ask then to send you a
simple of the fabric or wallpapers you need.

9-Do you have a minimum order?
There is a minimum amount set by the suppliers that must be met
when placing an order with Designer-fabric. Feel free to get a
price but a minimum order of 5 metres or 5 rolls per order must
be met to get the best price possible, or as much as you would
like.
If there is a minimum order requirement set by a supplier then
we will let you know when we quote you the price for that
supplier but in most cases the minimum is 1 metre of fabric or 1
roll of wallpaper.
When ordering fabric you can order to the nearest 10th of a
metre E.G. 1.3 or 1.5 or 1.8 metres.

10-Do you only sell fabrics in full metre increments?
No, because we order direct from the supplier you can order to
the nearest 10th of a metre.
E.G. 1.3 or 1.5 or 1.8 or 10.3 metres or whatever you need.

11-How do I place an order?
Ordering from designer-fabric.co.uk is as easy as 1-2-3. Once
you have requested a quote from us for a designer fabric or
wallpaper you are interested in purchasing, and we have sent you
a price for the fabric or wallpaper. Just reply to the email
saying that you wish to order the said goods and we will contact
you via telephone and take all your details for your order.

14-Why are your prices so much cheaper then the shops
We do NOT sell seconds, we are an internet based business
with few overheads and sell designer fabrics and wallpapers
direct to you from the suppliers.
Tight margins on the profit we make on selling the fabric or
wallpaper, and the volumes we sell can justify the price we sell
the product to you.
On average we take 15 to 20 orders a day and it is growing fast.

15-What do I do if I am having trouble ordering?
We do everything we can to ensure that shopping with us is as
simple and pleasant as possible. However, we both know that our
computers sometimes have a mind of their own! If this occurs,
please do not hesitate to call us.

16-When can I expect to receive my order?
As soon as your order is placed with us via telephone or fax we
do everything possible to have your order processed, packaged,
and delivered as quickly as possible. Currently, we are deliver
orders in 3-4 working days. Then, you must take into
consideration the delivery time it takes to get from our place
of business, in the north west of England to your destination.
We know you are anxious to get your orders and start sewing, so
we strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

17-How do find out the status of my order?
Once your order is on it's way we will send you an order status
e-mail with a tracking number, if appropriate, allowing you to
track your package while it is in transit. If at any time you
need information concerning the status of your order, you can
contact us via email info @ designer-fabric.co.uk. In order for
us to serve you better it is helpful to have your Order/ Ref
number to hand.
Our customer service representatives are dedicated to ensure
that each and every customer receives a response within 24
hours, if not sooner.

18-Am I guaranteed to receive every item on my order?
We do our very best to make sure that every one of our customers
receives each and every item they ordered. There are instances,
however, in which a particular fabric or wallpaper will become
out of stock due to high demand. Please understand that we
cannot guarantee that all items on your order will be available.
We make every effort to ensure that our processing of your order
is as accurate as possible. This is due to the nature of our
business, however, if this happens to your order you will be
notified via email and given a date when your order will be
completed.

19-What if an item I ordered is out of stock?
Once we have processed your order we fax the information of your
ordered fabric or wallpaper direct to the suppliers they will
then cut the fabric and send it out for delivery the same day.
However If a back order situation occurs they will ship the
fabric that is available rather than hold your other fabric
until the back ordered items arrive. Our customer service
department will contact you informing you of the situation,
which items are back ordered and the expected delivery date.
When the back ordered items arrive it will be delivered to you.
Don't worry you will not be charged delivery costs twice.

20-What happens when a back order situation occurs?
If a back order situation occurs the supplier will ship the
fabric that is available rather than hold your other fabric
until the back ordered items arrive. Our customer service
department will contact you informing you of the situation,
which items are back ordered and the expected delivery date.
When the back ordered items arrive it will be delivered to you.
Don't worry you will not be charged delivery costs twice.

21-What if I need to make an adjustment to my order?
If this need should arise, our customer service department is on
standby to help. We will make every effort to accommodate your
requests. Just email us using the original ordering email this
will have the unique ref number on it that we need to track your
order. Using this email let us know the amount of extra fabric
or wallpaper to require and our customer service department will
contact you for your ordering details.

22-What payment options are available?
Credit cards and debt cards are the most popular method of
payment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, solo , and switch. Please
Note orders paid for by Credit Cards are now subject to a 2%
charge for increase in banking charges. For you to get round
this we will waver this charge if you use a Visa Delta , Switch
or any other Debit Card.

23-Do you take phone orders?
- Yes we will contact you for your order details once we
have sent you a quote.
- Yes, this is our main method of taking your order, once
you have received a quote from us for the goods you require,
we will telephone you to take your order details.

24-Why do you charge for delivery and how much is
delivery?

If you place an order from different companies you will be
charge per company. If you order 2 or more items from the same
supplier you will only have one delivery charge to pay.
Overseas orders are sent by FedEx and the cost of this delivery
will be quoted to you in the quotation email.

25-Tracking your orders
When you make an enquiry with
designer-fabric you will be
given a unique enquiry number
this number is placed in the
subject field of the email you
send to us, And this is how we
keep track of your enquiry.
We will
then send you a quote for the fabric, wallpaper or curtains you
have asked for with instruction on what to do if you wish to
place an order.
Most
orders are sent direct from the suppliers but some special order
are sent by FedEx, The Royal Mail or Interparcel for these
orders we will send you a tracking number via email, Please use
